Happy 5th Anniversary!

I can't believe it's been 5 years since Sean and I said "I do." In some ways it seems like it was just yesterday. In other ways it seems like I've been married forever (but in a good way!) Just because I feel like it, here is a list of some things we've done since we were married.

2004
Went on a Royal Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon.
Toured Maya ruins
We were apartment managers for the first 2 years of our marriage in Chico, California.
Toured Washington D.C. (it was a bigger deal when we lived across the country)
Had an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in emergency surgery.
2005
Sean swore in to the US Navy
Were sealed in the Oakland Temple
Went to Philadelphia
Went to Arizona
Went to Salt Lake City, Utah
2006
Sean graduated from CSU Chico (cum laude)
Gave birth to William
Moved to Yuba City, California
Sean graduated from Officer Candidate School - became an Ensign
Drove across the country
2007
Moved to Athens, Georgia
Bought our first house in Portsmouth, Virginia
Got stationed in Norfolk
Sean left for a seven month deployment
2008
Bought our first pieces of new furniture (2 chairs)
Sean returns from deployment
Went to visit California
Got a second car
Sean got promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade

Anyway, it was a little sad this year because Sean was at sea (again!) today. I cleaned the house, did some laundry and played with William out in the yard. I got a nice big bouquet of Casablanca Lilies from Sean and he called me later from the ship. It was great. Then, since I couldn't go out on a date with Sean, I went out with his little clone. William and I had a great time at Red Robin. Then we watched a movie with popcorn at home. All in all, it wasn't too bad. Here's to another 5 great years!

Wedding Day
Reception
Cake Cutting
Temple Sealing Day

Happy Anniversary! That was a really cute idea. We've been married for 5 1/2 years and it's amazing how much can change in that time (like you and the places you've lived, etc.)

I'm so jealous -- my clone gets to have all the fun! He's probably wearing my slippers and using my toothbrush, too. William!!!! (shakes fist in the air)

I am really amazed at all the experiences that you and Sean have had in the past five years. It was fun to remember great family events. I almost feel bad that I don't have any more receptions to plan and execute. I was compelled to go find the small remembrance albums you made for each wedding. Where has the time gone???
