I hadn't been to a parade in years. I was so excited to learn that there was a Memorial Day parade in my own town of Portsmouth. I asked a few friends and they asked some more friends and soon we had a little group meeting downtown to watch the parade together. It was so fun. William LOVED it! He would wave to the veterans and police officers. He'd clap for the fire engines and high school bands. It was a total Norman Rockwell moment. Afterwards we stopped for some ice cream and then went down for a nap. What a great day!!

That was a lot of fun. Thank you for the idea. I had no idea how much fun you and william had when your dad was here. What a great memory. Isn't it funny how I just talked to you and I still want to blog? I'm addicted to this stuff. I'm wierd.

That sounds like so much fun. I wish that I could have gone as well, although I did get to go to NASCAR race.

Parades are just good ol' fashioned fun. I'm glad William liked it. I mean, how could you not?!?! :) I'm sure the ice cream didn't hurt either. Mmmmmm!
